77. Mellowing Thoughts

In a corner sat a kid timid and melancholic
Flickering candle light tinkered his raked mind
Swaying pendulum, dangling cryptic maze of thoughts
He watched the candles flame
He can't brook its exhaustion not  even its faint flame
But the candle is determined
It might get blowed up now or never
Though alone as the darkness sans candle light
Kindled thought gave a way to me
My dark emotions are not melted into infinity
Oh! Candle thou are eternal with your irradiant light.

78. Requiem to Solitude

Squatting  by the blades of grass
In the twilight of stars
Astonished and astounded at the sight
Star studded infinite sky, bending on me
Filled with vacuum I was drowned in solitude
Peeping into the fathoms depths of thoughts
Forlorn, bygone days reeled before me
I played with thou all under the parting peepal
Panting in joy with abandoned gay
Never to meet you withal!
Shuddering thoughts gasped my solitudes breath
Am I not in your sashaying thoughts
As thou all are in mine
Lo ! no time can wrench us apart
I harbor these thoughts in bosom
And play a requiem to solitude
Melancholy mellowed into merriment.
