37. O College!

O college brain child of Guntur elite,
Grand sweet dream of the educated youth,
Vaulting ambition of that true allopath,
Faster child of that soul as sire we treat.

That scholar bright strove to make you discrete;
That gentleman sweet led you in the right path;
That poet grateful guided you sans sloth;
Your men 've kept your flag flying in your beat.

The public with just pride applaud your feats;
The literate on you shower rare praise;
Compete the parents with you to leave children;
Old students proudly own you 'een at banquets.

Oh, I am glad to see you grow in size,
And strongly hope you keep your spirit waken.

38. O Education!

O Education! sure key to creation ,
Granter of very many useful boons,
Guide to unweary explores of new zones,
One who can influence every generation.

Now you are in so sad a situation
You are oft badly treated by humans,
They all hhave sant respect for you. O Heavens!
How tarnished is your age old reputation!

Oh, affluence always tries to buy you cheap;
Immoral people put you up for sale;
All worthless learners seize you by foul means;
Unworthy teachers on you take a grip;

Beliefs broward make your achievements pale;
People's indifference on you spread mists dense.
