53. Invisible Peer
I look lost in this world amid tumult and terror,
I crave for the benign touch that allays my fear.
I wish my peer hear my long prayer,
And give my afflicted heart a succour.
I long for him to wipe my tear,
And bless me with all cheer.
I look to him to rescue me from many a quag-mire,
And bolster me to get into gear.
I reckon my near and dear,
Is no match for my Invisible Peer.
I rely on him when I need a sympathetic ear,
As he has been scrupulously fair.
Surviving on this Earth by his grace sheer,
I thank him with a heart pure and clear.
Who do you think is this 'matchless dear'?
He is none but GOD the rarest of the rare.
54. Who are We?
Few times we pose the question ourselves,
For we pretend to be busy always.
Engaged in too many things,
Brag to be human beings.
Reluctant to waste an hour,
We are ever contending for power.
Trying to climb the societal ladder,
We neglect our near and dear.
Dwelling in various regions,
Unaware we are universal brothers and sisters.
Ever interested in foul games,
Forget we are mere players.
Enacting our respective roles,
Deny we are invisible souls.
Fighting for materialistic gains,
We ignore veritable Heavens.
