83. Modern World

Claudius has lost his treachery!
Macbeth has lost his ambition!
Cassius has lost his envy!
Satan has lost his pride!

They are all here in this world!
Not one alone, but all!
But all in one or all in all!
They made Christ,
Mohammed  and Krishna
Powerless to be born again.

84. Mystery

From balmy sleep I awoke;
Dazed was I to hear of
A friend lost in
Death's dateless night;
And  found new friends;
Every wakening finds
Some additions and deletions.

Who will wake up to see me missing?
All the memories will rest in a moment;
All that is mine will be lost in the sands of time:
Time will lull me to sleep,
Deep and unperturbed.

What happens between inhaling and exhaling?
What happens between birth and death?
What happens between awakening and sleeping?

A link we seek in vain to discover;
But it is better to experience mystery:
What cannot be expressed can be experienced!
